QPAC International Series to bring world-renowned performances to Brisbane
The Queensland Performing Arts Centre has announced its new QPAC International Series. The program, initially planned to run over the next five years, will see some of the world’s finest performing arts companies performing exclusively in Brisbane. In 2012 the central attraction will be the famous The Hamburg Ballet, with associated visits from the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra and artists of the Hamburg State Opera. The exclusive season will take place from 23 August - 5 September. Hilton Brisbane unveils new bar
As the final touch to its $14 million refurbishment the Hilton Brisbane has unveiled its sophisticated new bar, Vintaged Bar. Offering guests an inner-city oasis, the bar serves coffee and light-meals by day and cocktails and share plates in the evening. Using high quality seasonal produce and ingredients, the beverage and food menu is designed in tune with the season. Australian Eco Adventures adds Indigenous experience to tours
Australian Eco Adventures has added a visit to the Koomurri Aboriginal Centre, Echo Point, to all six of its Blue Mountains Tours. After a day of exploring and walking the last stop on each tour will now be the Aboriginal Centre. Here guests will have time to witness a corroboree, look around the art shops and try painting with ochre. For more information please contact info@ozeco.com.au.

New tour to launch 2012 truffle season
The Australian 2012 truffle season is two months away, with promises for a record year of production. Pyrmont Festival of Wine, Food and Art announces 2012 program
The Pyrmont Festival of Wine, Food and Art has announced its 2012 program which includes over 20 events, making it the biggest festival yet. Held from 18 – 27 May, highlights of the program include an Italian Rustic Breakfast on Pyrmont Bay which opens the program on 18 May, an outdoor Wine and Food fair at Pirrama Park with Mudgee produce on 20 May and Friday's Great Long Lunch at Café Morso on 25 May.
