Apollo motorhomes launch 4-berth Outback camper
Apollo Motorhome Holidays will ensure more visitors get off the beaten track in Australia with their new 4WD Outback Camper. The camper has been built on the back of a Mitsubishi Triton, forging a unique 4-berth, family-friendly campervan boasting two double beds, an awning, automatic transmission and air conditioning.

Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove launches winter menu
Situated on the northern end of Queensland’s Gold Coast, Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove’s signature restaurant - The Fireplace - has a winter menu to complement the cooler months. Guests can enjoy gourmet dishes created from fresh local produce with signature dishes including roasted field mushrooms, slow-roasted, free-range duck and Tajima Wagu beef cooked in the unique wood-fired oven. The Fireplace is open nightly from 6:00pm until 10:00pm.

New waterside eatery opens in Geelong, Victoria
Overlooking Eastern Beach, the Royal Geelong Yacht Club and a sprinkling of seaborne  sailors is where you’ll find Baveras. Inside there's an elegant, modern, dining room with wicker lampshades, parquetry flooring, pale timber tables and dark leather chairs. The culinary duo of Executive Chef Matt Dempsey (a former Electrolux Young Chef of the Year) and head Chef Graham Jefferies tweak regional produce to create contemporary dishes such as a salad of cured kingfish with citrus, cucumber and shiso.

Tamborine Mountain launches Adventure Pass
Located one hour from Brisbane in South East Queensland, the new Adventure Pass from Tamborine Mountain Tours is a four-hour tour exploring the three main attractions on the Mountain: Thunderbird Park, the Glow Worm caves and the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. Ideal for families, the tour begins with fossicking for Thundereggs at Thunderbird Park and continues on to the Rainforest Skywalk, where guests can experience the rainforest canopy suspended 30 metres above ground on the elevated walkway. The tour’s last stop is at the Glow Worm caves, home to more than 7,000 glow worms which light up the dark enclosure. 

Tahune AirWalk Lodge opens in Tasmania
The 25-bed Tahune AirWalk Lodge, located south of Hobart in the Huon Valley, has opened its doors to visitors. Set among forest, the lodge has three bedroom wings and includes bunk rooms for backpackers, family rooms with double and single beds, and a double room suitable for those with disabilities. The lodge also has a communal room with a fireplace, a TV with a section of DVD's, a computer station with free internet access, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee.

The Dark Side of the Brew festival set to be held in July
The Dark Side of the Brew is a new festival being held as part of the annual Latrobe Chocolate Winterfest near the northern Tasmanian town of Devonport on 10 July. Tasmanian Microbrewers, cider makers, whisky distillers and chocolate makers will share their brews and tasting notes with visitors. The festival also includes dark beer and chocolate matching sessions.

Luxury fashion brand Burberry opens flagship store in Sydney
Formerly the Commercial Banking Company of Australia in 1924, 343 George Street now welcomes luxury fashion brand, Burberry’s Sydney flagship store. Among the high ceilings, heritage marble columns, old British service desks, Burberry is showcasing for the first time in Australia all of their collections.
